
Responsibilities:
Job Summary/Overall purpose
Responsible for all aspects of the Open GL graphic solutions and driver level development for avionics applications
Essential Responsibility
Implementing Open GL extensions, porting an Open GL driver to custom hardware, and adaptation to different embedded OS
Main Duties:
Working with the designer and other creative specialists to understand the design concept and advising on how it can be implemented technically within constraints
Sorting out operational logic and business rules that are necessary for the feature to be reproduced correctly according to the designer's specification
Creating and linking databases to the user interface so that information can be retrieved, stored and processed interactively via the application
Writing HTML or similar input and using authoring packages where appropriate to create content and effects
Providing technical support to an application once it is running and making further adaptations, patches or rewrites to the code
Requirements:
Qualification
Familiar with the principles of interactive user design
In-depth knowledge of OpenGL and graphical programming tools and libraries
Have a good knowledge of 3D math and modern computer graphics technology
Familiarity with GIS/ESRI software
Have a good level of understanding of graphic optimization
Experience
At least 3 years experience with graphical systems such as OpenGL/Inventor, CUTE, and GUI
Strong experience in architecting, object oriented design, programming, and testing , for computer graphics and image processing
Experience working with large datasets of vector, image, and terrain data as well as data structures for storing, manipulating, and visualizing 3D data
Experience in algorithmic development/research
Proficient in C/C++ programming language
Familiar with programming under UNIX / LINUX
