ORACLE DBA Consultant (DBA)

Responsibilities:

* Cloning, database refresh
* Trouble shooting, working with developers, documentation
* OEM (alerts, monitoring, administration, and performance)
* MTS/Connection Pooling
* Concurrent manager support/monitoring
* Java administration, Web applications servers, Report server, and Forms server
* Oracle Applications Server(OAS/9iAS) / WebDB (Portal) administration
* Oracle installation, 11i patching, upgrades
* Configure JVM and jserv processes for load balancing.

Requirements:

* Bachelor Degree in IT / Engineering
* Minimum 4 years of hands on experience as Oracle DBA
* Has ORACLE 10g / 9i Database Administrator Professional Certification would be a strong benefit
* Has exposure to RAC and Oracle Apps would be preferred
* Has strong experience on Oracle Application server (OAS/9iAS) / WebDB (Portal) Administration, Oracle Database Performance monitoring and tuning, Upgrading, backup and recovery, configuration, monitoring and tuning in various platform.
* Analytical problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
* Service oriented behavior and communication to internal and external contacts
* Good communication skills (communication to customers verbal and written is mandatory)
* Language : fluent in English
