Network Administrator

General requirements







max 30 years old
Possess good analytical skill

Proficient in English would be an additional advantage
Hard worker, able to work under pressure, eager to learn and adaptable

Bachelor Degree majoring IT or other related field from reputable university

Having good capabilities in written reporting
Effective troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
Willing to work on odd hours/shifts/weekends





Job & responsibilities

- Maintain network infrastructure such as Routers, Switches, Firewalls, VPN Gateways, etc.
- Deliver system performance to the agreed performance criteria and guidelines.
- Performs installation, configuration, maintenance and performance tuning of all system and its parts.





Technical Requirements

- Bachelor Degree majoring IT or other related field from reputable university
- Strong knowledge in networking concepts and technologies, eg: LAN/WAN routing, Sub-netting, Bridging, Firewall, TCP/IP, VPN.
- Strong knowledge in routing protocols, eg: OSPF, BGP, etc.
- Strong knowledge of UNIX operating systems, e.g.: Debian, RedHat, *BSD, etc.

The following skills will be a big advantage:

- Preferably CISCO Networking (CCNA) and/or Mikrotik RouterOS
- Understanding and experiences in security & performance optimization in UNIX Environment
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell (sh, bash, ksh, csh), Perl, etc.
