Senior Systems Architect - Systems and Technology Platforms

Job Responsibilities:

* Prominent systems architect in IT industry with at least 15 years of solid experience as well as extensive experience in IT hardware infrastucture solutions with key responsibility as a Senior Advisor for IBM Sales Team.
1. Responsible for translating the client's business requirements into specific system, application or process designs for very large, complex or leading-edge solutions. This includes working with client personnel and executives to identify functional requirements and subsequently working with and leading others in the identification, justification and design of the client's solution.
2. Formation of partnerships among customer, vendor and subcontractor organizations and the negotiation of lasting agreements regarding goals and approaches.
3. Responsible for a wide range of design activities from requirements analysis through systems, application and/or process design specification.
4. Position requires significant knowledge across multiple platforms, processes or architectures and will include directing the design efforts of less experienced architects.
5. Extensive understanding of industry and technology trends, and to apply that understanding to articulate a strategic vision which influences or guides business area, country or international strategic directions.
6. Participate in, and/or be responsible for the creation, harvesting, protection, and reuse of IBM's intellectual capital.
7. Participate actively in knowledge sharing activities like communities of practice, forums, conferences and/or other knowledge exchanges.
