Retail IT Site Systems Programme Deployment Manager - East (DSIT)

Location: Cyberjaya, Selangor, Malaysia

Responsibilities:

* Regularly and proactively manage engagements with key Retail Sales & Operations Stakeholders within the region and up to Vice President level;
* Act as the point of escalation for the Retail business in the East on IT matters;
* To implement the Retail IT Site Systems Program within Asia Pacific and ensure all projects are delivered on time and budget and in compliance with the Shell IT governance process;
* Ensure all projects are adequately staffed with skilled resources and all deployment projects comply with Shell’s Project Development Framework;
* Responsible for the demand management process from initial request to delivery and transition to support, for all Site Systems activities i.e. ensure that the correct governance and approval processes are in place prior to handover the run and maintain team;
* Manage and participate in the program of post implementation reviews, value assurance reviews and Health Checks;
* Manage all change requests related to the program through the relevant processes;
* Act as a senior member of the Global Site Systems team providing support for the global programme and contributing to the ongoing development of the Site Systems strategy;
* Manage and develop team of 5 direct reports across the region in pursuit of delivering required systems to the Retail business inline with IT Strategy.

Requirements:

* Degree in IT or any other discipline;
* At least 15 years' working experience in IT industry with proven track record in delivering complex transformations including business process redesign;
* Minimum 8 years of experience in delivering complex medium to large scale regional or global IT Retail Site System projects with a large process change;
* Excellent understanding of the business activities performed at site and head office level and sound knowledge of Retail site operation i.e (Point of Sale systems inc Payment, Back Office systems, Site communications and communications infrastructure);
* Experienced in preparing business IT investment proposals, establishing project cost and timeline as well as managing project risk;
* Must be process and project management methodology oriented and willing to adhere strictly to company's global methodology;
* Knowledge of Project Excellence tools and techniques and project assurance processes;
* Able to work under broad direction but is a self-motivated individual who is able to work independently. Has technical responsibility and accountability for work performed and decisions taken;
* Ability to communicate and manage relationship at all levels and build good rapport with key stakeholders, leaders, suppliers as well as team members;
* Willing to travel & have experience in working in a virtual team;
* Must possess strong leadership skills and change management capabilities;
* Must possess excellent interpersonal skills;
* Fluency in written and spoken English is essential for this position;
* Authorisation to work in Malaysia is required for this position;
