Linux Engineer / DBA

Responsibilities:

* Troubleshoot Advantage Database Server issues, fine tune performance and further develop the database infrastructure
* Act as second line support for Linux issues
* Provide new IT solutions for Linux issues
* Safeguard system performance, analyses trends and highlight anticipated issue to management
* Maintaining and further development of bank’s Linux terminal
* Develop, manage and testing backup and recovery plans
* Daily monitoring and maintenance LTS server
* Provide customer support via phone, email and other tools

Requirements:

* Minimum S1 from reputable University in Indonesia with major in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering
* Minimum 4 years Red Hat Enterprise Linux experience
* Red Hat Certification is required
* Red Hat Network software distribution experience is required
* Affinity with database systems, Advantage Databse Server (ADS) is a plus
* Willingness to be trained ADS
* Windows server active directory, DHCP is a plus
* Solid experience with multi server environment /deployments
* Ability to gather requirements and help designing and implement appropriate solutions
* Strong process oriented experience in terms of implementation and completion
* Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux Servers (network and storage)
* Troubleshooting
* Ability to work well with users and in a cross0team environment and to mentor within teams
* Willing to travel
* Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written English)
