
Selected candidates will be responsible for:
* Designing, implementing and supporting database services, and meet the defined service levels for the database and application services.
* Provides third line support and actively assist the 1st and 2nd line support teams to ensure rapid resolution of all issues to maintain the availability and performance of services.
* Investigate and diagnose complex problems, working with users, other staff and suppliers and provide an escalation point for service desk calls requiring specialist knowledge.
* Maintains an awareness of all aspects of database performance and continuously looks for areas of improvement, and provide project resource for the installation of new products and services as required.
* Regular reviews on new and ongoing issues and workloads with the DBA Team Leader, and backup for the DBA Team Leader in his/her absence.
* Implementation and production of documentation for database services and subsequent changes/amendments to the infrastructure and proactively seeks to improve levels of service to our customers.
Selected candidates MUST have the following requirements:
* Sarjana S-1/ Bachelor Degree with minimum GPA of 3.0.
* Several years experience working as a Senior SQL Server DBA covering versions 2000 and 2005 in a ITIL environment.
* Experience working with Windows 2000 & 2003 Advanced Server.
* Strong technical understanding of Database Management Systems, and has worked on 24x7 systems and/or performance critical systems.
* DBA certifications and experience working in a banking environment would be considered a plus.
You should have the following attributes:
* Good problem solving skills and debugging skills.
* Able to communicate and work well within a team.
* Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Good English proficiency.
